Getting Started

Welcome to Connecticut College Study Away!

If you are a new user, complete the following steps: 


Important Application Information

  • You will need to request one faculty recommendation, which must come from a faculty in your major department
  • Share your rationale with faculty prior to sending recommendation request
  • Give your faculty recommender at least two weeks notice to complete your recommendation
  • The application process should be taken seriously as your rationale accounts for 70% and your faculty recommendation accounts for 30% during the review process
  • Please note the minimum overall GPA requirement is 3.0

  • Use the program search engine to find programs of interest
  • Click into a program to read more information
  • Once you've chosen a program, click the "Apply Now" button from the program page
  • If you are unable to find a program in the program listing, you may petition a program here. 


After applying to a program, create an account

  • If you are a Connecticut College student, log in with your CC login credentials
  • If you are a non-Connecticut College student, select "I do not have login credentials to this site" and follow the instructions to create an account
 

Complete Application

  • Once you've applied to the program(s) of your choice, complete all sections of the application and click 'Submit' 
  • You may complete the application in part, and return to it later
  • To return to an existing application, simply click "Login" in the top-right of this screen
